Project Description

PF Fotografie is a photography portfolio brand focused on capturing landscapes, people, places, and carefully composed visual moments. The website presents the photographer's work through a curated collection of landscape photography, fine-art pieces, portraits, and selected product photography.
We designed and developed a sophisticated, minimalist portfolio website that puts the photography itself at the center of the experience. Rather than using a traditional grid-based portfolio layout, the website uses an editorial-style visual composition that combines large imagery with spacious typography and carefully positioned content sections.
The website introduces the photographer, highlights different photography categories, showcases selected works and regional collections, and creates a refined browsing experience that allows each image to stand out.

The Challenge

PF Fotografie – Fine Art & Photography Portfolio Website

Our Solution

We created a minimalist, editorial-inspired photography website where the imagery remains the central focus of the experience.
The homepage uses a distinctive alternating image-and-content layout to introduce key areas such as Galerie, Fine-Art, Staunen & Erkennen, Personen, Produkte, Neue Bilder, Alpen, Mostviertel, Almsee, and Toskana.
Large, carefully selected images are paired with generous whitespace and elegant typography, creating a gallery-like atmosphere rather than a conventional commercial website. This approach gives every photography category its own visual moment while keeping the overall experience cohesive.
The navigation was kept intentionally simple so visitors can move between the gallery, fine-art work, personal information, and other collections without distracting from the photography.

The Result

The new PF Fotografie website provides the photographer with a refined digital portfolio that allows the photography to take center stage.
Visitors can explore different collections, discover fine-art photography, view landscapes and portraits, learn more about the photographer, and experience the work through a calm and visually immersive browsing journey.
The combination of large imagery, generous whitespace, restrained typography, and editorial composition creates a premium portfolio experience that feels closer to an online art gallery than a conventional photography website.
